A note from Adam, our DIY expert:

This cutting board belonged to a good friend of mine whose dad who passed away when we were in high school. He said he’ll always remember his dad cutting Sunday roast beef dinners on this board. When I saw the condition it was in, I asked him if he’d let me try and refinish it. Luckily, it turned out beautifully and inspired this video! I’m going to surprise him with it at his wedding this summer. —Adam
