Where to go snow tubing in Ontario

This ski resort offers snow tubing at a great, all-inclusive price, covering two hours of tubing, equipment rental, and the lift all in one go.

This recreation area in the GTA is a good one to keep in mind for visits throughout the winter season; it’s currently slated to open the week of January 14th, and you can visit for snow tubing, winter hikes, and more.

Another Northern Ontario option, this ski resort is fully open and welcoming skiers and snow-tubers this season. They even have night-tubing available for another fun twist on the activity.

Another great option in Barrie, the Ski Snow Valley area has three dedicated lifts and 14 chutes to slide down, plus a designated Kids Zone, for those with little ones that may want to skip the bigger slopes.

A favourite for those in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, Chicopee Tube Park is an excellent go-to for families and groups. At the time of writing, the tube park is only open on certain days, so research and get your tickets in advance.

This ski area up in Northern Ontario is home to a host of winter activities, including snow tubing. You’ll need a pass to access the whole park and to go tubing, but you’ll definitely be getting your money’s worth!

Many Ontario ski resorts come with a designated snow tubing area, and at Boler Mountain, the activity has an exceptional park. It’s currently open at varying hours; some days only during evenings, and others, in the afternoon, so pick your day and plan ahead.

A quick search for ‘snow tubing’ turns up Horseshoe Resort as a top spot each time. There are a variety of passes available depending on how often you’d like to go, and you can also rent helmets on-site (change rooms and lockers are currently closed, however, so arrive dressed and ready).
