Green Cottager AwardsMeet the judgesNeil Hutchinson is a senior aquatic scientist at Gartner Lee and has written extensively on water quality and shoreline development. He is a long-time cottager on Rib Lake, north of Temagami, Ont. Robert Paehlke taught for 35 years in Trent University’s Environmental and Resource Studies program, specializing in environmental policy. His recent book, Some Like It Cold, is about climate change. Lil Anderson is a naturalist, nature writer, and resource technician, as well as a licensed wildlife custodian. She founded Iggy’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, near Kenora, Ont. Bev Clark is a scientist and coordinator of the Ministry of the Environment’s Lake Partner Program, with a focus on lake health and aquatic biology. Clark lives near Minden, Ont. Bob Gibson teaches in the University of Waterloo’s Department of Environment and Resource studies. He shares a cottage on Whitestone Lake, near Dunchurch, Ont. Awards CoordinatorSteve Stockton has a PhD in ecology and runs a Toronto-based environmental consulting company, NatureStock. He is the environmental columnist for CBC Radio’s Fresh Air and cottages near Maynooth, Ont.
