Create a one-of-a-kind piece that brings nature into your cottage.
Step 1:
Choose a piece of plywood large enough to allow ample room for your frame design.
Step 2:
Apply glue to the back of the mirror and press into center of plywood. Let the glue dry for at least four
hours.
Step 3:
Plan your birch bark design and cut the bark to proper size.
Step 4:
Glue the birch bark down in desired pattern and weight with heavy objects to keep the bark from curling
up. Let dry for at least four hours.
Step 5:
Cut the twigs with woodcutters to appropriate lengths to cover the seams of the birch bark design.
Step 6:
Use small finishing nails to hold the twigs in place.
Step 7:
Screw two small screws into the back of the plywood and wrap small cable around to hang. Be sure that you
will not be able to see the wire when the mirror is hung on the wall.
