Barbecue Beef Marinade

Ingredients
½ cup unsweetened apple juice (125 ml)
2 tbsp teriyaki sauce (30 ml)
1 tbsp soy sauce (15 ml)
1 tbsp black bean sauce (15 ml)
1 ½ tsp Dijon mustard (7 ml)
1 ½ tsp minced garlic (7 ml)
1 tbsp dry Greek spices (15 ml)
2 tbsp canola or light olive oil (30 ml)
freshly ground pepper to taste
1 large flank steak
Instructions
1. Whisk first 7 ingredients together in small bowl. Gradually add oil, whisking constantly until
thoroughly blended and thickened. Add pepper to taste.
2. Place steak in resealable bag. Add marinade. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Remove from refrigerator 1
hour before cooking.
3. Preheat grill on high for 5 minutes, then reduce heat to medium. Place steak in centre of grill and cook
to desired doneness, turning once during cooking.
Makes 4 servings.
Tips:
- Score flank steak to let marinade penetrate into meat.
