Barbecue Beef Rub

Ingredients
1 ½ tsp salt (7 ml)
1 ½ tsp garlic powder (7 ml)
1 tsp black pepper (5 ml)
1 tsp white pepper (5 ml)
1 tsp onion powder (5 ml)
1 tsp ground cumin (5 ml)
½ tsp cayenne pepper (2 ml)
½ tsp paprika (2 ml)
¼ cup butter, melted (60 ml)
4 rib-eye steaks, 1" (2.5 cm) thick
Instructions
1. Combine all spices with the melted butter to form a paste. Spread paste over one side of steaks.
2. Place steaks on grill, paste side up, and cook over high heat for 4-5 minutes. Turn once and cook to
desired doneness.
Makes 4 servings.
Tips:
- Store leftover spice mixture in refrigerator.
