Mike's Chicken Wings

Ingredients
4 lbs jumbo chicken wings, jointed and tips removed (2 kg)
6 cups water (1.5 L)
2 cups red wine (500 ml)
1 cup barbecue sauce (250 ml)
¼ cup soy sauce (60 ml)
¼ cup Worcestershire sauce (60 ml)
2 tbsp crushed chili peppers (30 ml)
2 tbsp freshly ground pepper (30 ml)
1 tbsp paprika (15 ml)
1 tbsp granulated sugar (15 ml)
1 tbsp salt (15 ml)
1 medium onion, diced
1 large tomato, quartered
Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 40 minutes,
stirring occasionally.
2. Remove wings from sauce. Barbecue on low heat, turning occasionally, for about 30 minutes, or until golden
brown.
Makes about 6 servings.
