SECOND PRIZE: Carol's Cottage Clafoutis // Carol Barkwell IngredientsInstructions: 1. Melt butter in 8" (23 cm) square baking pan in oven. Tilt pan to coat bottom with butter. 2. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Toss apples with half of sugar/cinnamon mixture. Spread evenly in pan. Bake in preheated 425ºF (220ºC) oven 5 minutes. Sprinkle raisins over apples. 3. Whisk eggs, flour, baking powder, and salt together in a bowl. Gradually add milk, whisking until smooth. Pour over cooked apples. Sprinkle with remaining sugar/cinnamon mixture. Bake in 425ºF (220ºC) oven 15-20 minutes, or until set and golden brown. Cut into 4 squares and serve immediately. Makes 4 servings. Cottage Tips:
