Ten Things Not To Miss at the 2008 Fall Cottage Life Show

Taste Testing - Pilsner Urquell and the Opimian Society

Everyone’s heard of wine tasting, some people have heard of beer tasting, but who has heard of chocolate tasting? Cottage Life has, that’s who! This year the 2008 Fall Cottage Life Show guests can look forward to all of the above! Guests over the age of 19 can enjoy wine tasting by Opimian, The Wine Society of Canada, beer sampling by Pilsner Urquell, and kids of all ages can enjoy chocolate tasting by Christy’s Crunch.

Games Room – Crokinole and Ladder Toss

There is no better opponent than a member of your own family! The 2008 Fall Cottage Life Show provides families with the perfect venue to settle the score from the summer. Board games and leisure sports are two of the ways that families and friends connect at the cottage, and both are in the Cottage Games Room. Crokinole, ladder toss, Scrabble, bocce ball, cribbage, and much more. And don’t miss a chance to try Cottage Life Wacky Winter Games on our faux ice surface!

Go Snowmobiling! Give it a try! Family Snowmobile Centre

The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) and the 2008 Fall Cottage Life Show have partnered to introduce families to snowmobiling. Not only will snowmobiling experts be on hand to answer questions and give helpful advice, but cottagers can sign up for a free Give It a Try! experience this winter, with sleds and all necessary gear also provided at no cost. This is a great opportunity to learn about snowmobiling, so check out the OFSC Go Snowmobiling! Give It A Try! Family Snowmobile Centre.
