During the winter cottaging season installing an Ice Away De-Icer from Arbrux Limited provides self insurance against major dock damage caused by expanding/lifting ice. This product is also known as a bubbler and maintains open water to ensure a safe environment for your dock in freezing temperatures.
- Ice Away's high speed motor-driven propeller brings the warmer deep water to the surface to maintain open water and prevent ice damage.
- Can be used for boat houses/slips, dock systems, and pond areas
- Easy "drop in" installation can be done through an augured hole or open water by one person.
- Can be suspended from boat, dock or float.
- Typically an Ice Away placed at a 5ft depth will in most cases keep a 40ft circle ice-free.
- Standard unit electrical cord lengths 25-50ft. (Custom cable/lengths available.)
