Watson Canoes is a family-owned business, established in 1972. We offer quality-built canoes at an affordable price. Our canoes are unmatched for their beauty. They are strong yet flexible, and are available in a wide variety of designs, colours, and prices.All Watson canoes feature lightweight fiberglass hulls, constructed by the "hand lay-up method", which produces far stronger hulls than other manufacturing processes. The trim is finished off with bright aluminum or ash wood gunwales, and secured with stainless steel rivets or brass screws. Our canoes are fitted with floatation tanks at each end to prevent the canoe from sinking if flipped. Wood & nylon, wood & lace, or even curved seats are available for your maximum comfort.
Our wide selection of carrying yokes makes portaging our canoes easy. With one of the largest colour selections in the industry, it's fun to pick your own special colour. All this adds up to many years of enjoyment for a very modest investment.
