The Waterloo Biofilter® is a compact, reliable and low
maintenance septic system especially effective for difficult sites such as small lots, heavy clay soils,
shallow or exposed bedrock and high water table.
The Biofilter® may be installed above ground in an attractive insulated cedar or vinyl shed or below ground
in a buried concrete tank. The versatility of the Biofilter® minimizes tree cutting and excavation; it will
fit your requirements, not the opposite. Important features include seasonal or year-round use, small
footprint, low energy, and 99% fecal coliform removal.
